More Ways to Help the Planet
Here are simple ways to support the earth—no matter where you live.
Earth Day Art Model
This online performance art festival addresses environmental issues and spreads awareness from various moving and thoughtful perspectives. On Earth Day, artists and presenters from around the world will share their work in this free and interactive event.
Take 3 for the Sea
Take 3’s philosophy is simple actions can solve complex problems. Next time you’re at the beach, lake, or leaving work for the day, pick up three pieces of litter and toss them in the trash. That small act makes a world of difference.
Surfrider
Stop plastic pollution at its source by dining at Ocean Friendly Restaurants, a group of eateries across the country committed to making sustainable choices that improve our oceans.
City Nature Challenge
Collaboration meets friendly competition in this global challenge. All you have to do is head outside with your smartphone, take pictures of plants and wildlife, and share your observations. You’ll help scientists, land managers, and your community learn about the nature in your area, and what you can do to protect it.
