Q&A

What is the BTU rating for the firepit? I don’t want something that looks pretty. I want something to keep me warm. Also, can I switch out the rectangular fire pit for the circular fire pit in the set?

Hi Candace! Great question! These fire pit tables produce about 50,000-60,000 BTUs, but seating distance and wind/weather can affect felt warmth. We do not currently offer this set with a circular fire pit table; however, these pieces can be ordered separately - 4x GNSV23 Vineyard Deep Seating Swivel Chairs and 1x CTF48R Round 48" Fire Pit Table. I hope this helps! Thank you, Dana

What would you recommend as the space needed for 5-Piece Deep Seating Swivel Conversation Set - I see individual measurements for chairs/tables - but perhaps knowing what total measurement for the whole set (as pictured) is would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Hi Jane, Great question! The Recommended Minimum Space for this configuration is 143" W X 32" H X 143" D. Happy shopping! Thanks, Lana

do these chairs rock?

Hello Christi, Thanks for asking! I apologize, no. We do not currently have any swivel chairs that rock. Any chairs that do rock, will say so in the description of the chair. Have a great day, Mindy

Can the firepit be used on a screened in porch that is finished?

Hi Michelle, Great question! The unit itself is not UL approved for this application, but there should not be any problem provided the following guidelines are followed: - Minimum porch are: 96 sqaure feet - Minimum ceiling height: 92 inches - Minimum of two walls must be screened or open - Minimum screen height side walls: 6 feet, 8 inches - Minimum screen or open area is 64 square feet Thank you, Lana

Did I see another set with 2 swivel chairs and a table instead of the firepit?

Hi Michelle, We currently do not offer a set that has Vineyard Swivel chairs paired with a table instead of the Fire Pit Table. Thanks for asking! Lana

Any ideas on why the fire would turn off after a few minutes? There are no stones in the breezeway part

Hi Marisa, Thanks for your question! Please contact our Help Center for assistance with your Fire Pit Table. The Customer Experience team can provide you with a trouble shooting guide to get your fire pit table back to working properly. Thanks! Lana

Can you get the round fire pit with these chairs instead of the square fire pit?

Can you put this set with the fire pit in a grassy area?

Hi BR, Thanks for your question. Yes, the Fire Pit Table is safe to use on wood and composite decks, concrete patios, yards, etc. Thanks! Lana

Can this be hooked up to natural gas? Or do you have to use a propane tank?

Hello Tim, Thank you for your interest in our Fire Pit tables. All of our Fire Pit tables do come with set ups to be used with Propane or Natural Gas. Thanks -Jason

Hello. How does the fire pit cover fit over the pit/gems? It is not pictured.

Hi Allynn, Great question! The cover for the firepit table is meant for the glass wind protector to be left on so you just put it on over the top. You can view the firepit cover being put on the firepit in the video from think link: https://youtu.be/obZ6wvpOzv0. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Michelle

Hi there. How much assembly is required in this set?

Hey Jenn, That is a good question. For this set the fire pit table, comes mostly together you would just be attaching the table top to the base and then connecting the internal parts for the fire portion to work. For the chairs- the seat and swivel come preassembled so it would be attaching the arms and the seat back to that piece. To see a better idea of the assembly you can view the assembly instructions of any of our items here- https://www.polywood.com/assembly Thanks -Jason

How low are the seats, the total height is 31.5 inches so is the actual seat 12 inches off the ground?

Hello Scott, Great question! The seat height on the frame is indeed 12", but with the cushion that must be in place for the chairs to be used the seat height is 16.5" Best wishes, Heather

Wondering how the white with navy cushions is to care for around a pool. Does it show the dirt and need cleaning often?

Hello, This is a good question! Due to the nature of the colour, white will show dirt/debris more prevalently than our darker lumber colours if there is any left on the surface. However, all POLYWOOD furniture and cushions are designed to be all-weather, low-maintenance and easy to clean. If you would like to review some helpful tips for cleaning our furniture, please see a link below to our Care & Maintenance page from our website. https://www.polywood.com/care-maintenance By the way, White and Navy is a great combination! I hope this is helpful information. All the best, Oli
