Vineyard Bench 72 inch

"Bench came damaged after waiting 1 month to get it, sent photos, had to call to follow up again as no response, and then they sent email saying they will replace. Polywood said they would ship right away as I already waited a month but 4 days later the item is still preparing to ship. Horrible customer service. I have bought 2 dining table sets from them and now this bench. Their customer service has gone down the tubes. No one cares, you just get the run around when you call. Will no longer be a customer of Polywood."

Beautiful but too small

"As with everything from Polywood, this storage bench is beautiful, high-quality and well constructed. That said, there should be a disclaimer on this storage bench that it is not large enough to fit the chair cushions they sell. We ordered this and six dining chair cushions. A single cushion will not fit in this container (without squishing it down). Extremely disappointed."

Way smaller than we were

"Way smaller than we were expecting. Especially for r what we paid for it. We tried to measure it out and visualize it before we bought it but until it is actually in front of you you don't really know. Other than the size it is nice. We wouldn't recommend it though because as we said before it is too small for what it costs. Really disappointing."

Hi Rick, Great question! The 60" Storage Bench has interior dimensions of 13.97" width x 57.27" length x 12.31" depth. The 72" Storage Bench has the same interior width and depth, but measures 69.27" in length. Hope this helps! Dana

I’d like to purchase one of these to store furniture covers. I want water tight (rain proof), as well as mud daubers proof. Will drains at the bottom allow insects to get in and build nest etc.
Hi Paul, thank you for your question. The Vineyard 72" Storage Bench is weather-resistant but not fully watertight, so some moisture may get inside during heavy rain. The drain holes at the bottom help water escape, but they can also allow small insects, like mud daubers, to get in. For best protection, we recommend storing your furniture covers in sealed plastic bins or waterproof bags inside the bench. Best, Miriam
Will this bench fit the cushion for the bench, 4 standard seat cushions, 2 chaise cushions, and 2 outdoor throw pillows?

The Vineyard 72" Storage Bench does offer a generous interior (about 52 gallons of storage), designed to hold cushions and outdoor accessories while helping keep them protected from the elements. That said, whether everything you listed will fit in each bench can vary depending on the thickness and foldability of the cushions. In general a full 72" bench cushion will take up most of the length of the storage space. Adding two seat cushions, a chaise cushion, and a throw pillow may be a tight fit all together in one bench—especially if the cushions are thick or firm. With two benches, you should have plenty of total storage, but you may need to distribute the items between them rather than fitting a full set into each one. Best, Miriam

It can hold several standard seat cushions and a few smaller items like throw pillows. However, fitting 4 seat cushions, 2 chaise cushions, and 2 outdoor throw pillows all at once will likely be a tight fit—especially if the cushions are thick.
